Musical surprises are the best

This New Year’s Day I was given two wonderful musical surprises by BBC Radio 3. One in the early afternoon, when I tuned in just in time to listen to 4th Bruckner Symphony

And in the evening the Emperor Piano Concerto by Beethoven with a few lyrical moments that touch my heart every single time:
